The Photocentric Scrapper | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Cathy Pascual

Hello, Cathy, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! As a big fan of your work, I’m so excited to have a little “sit down” chat with you.  Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you began digital scrapbooking?

Hello! I am so honored to be interviewed! I am a mom of two lovely girls and wife to an indie video game developer. Recently, I became a creative business owner of Catshy Crafts, an online shop. It is truly my baby. I design and create everything for the shop, from business cards to my hand-embroidered pieces to my website.

Less is More | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Leontien van Veen

Hello, Leontien, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you began digital scrapbooking?

I’m from the Netherlands where I live with my husband and 4.5-year-old son. I’m a fontaholic and love photography.

I started digi scrapping in 2008 when my son was born. The first year wasn’t easy (he didn’t sleep much and cried a LOT!). To keep me sane and occupied with something else other than feeding and trying to soothe him I would scrap in the few short naps he would take.

Your screen name is Jippo. Does that have anything to do with the Finnish football club?

Lol! No, it’s named after a cat I once had!

Blending Artsy and Abstract | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Chris Asbury

Hello, Chris, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi, my name is Chris Asbury, aka casbury in digi-world. I’m from Northern California and live in Livermore (California’s ‘other’ Wine Country), with my husband, son and two dogs. Since my son graduated from college just a few weeks ago, my husband and I will soon be official empty nesters with just two aging dogs to keep us company. We also have two married daughters living in SoCal and two adorable granddaughters.

How did you get started in digital scrapbooking?

I began scrapbooking in 2005 out of a need to organize my ever growing stash of photographs and memorabilia and to make some sense of order. I also believe that if you save something just to store it away it has no purpose. Why not see it, use it or share it? I was only familiar with paper scrapping at the time and became instantly obsessed with all things scrapbooking. I amassed a colorful array of supplies that would be left behind in two years when I discovered digital scrapping.

It’s All in the Details | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Karla Dudley

Hello and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi! I live in Encinitas, California with my five children and “gamer” husband. :) I have been scrapbooking ever since 2003 shortly after my son, Kody, was born. I started out with traditional paper scrapbooking and a layout called “Bubble Time.” Years and two sets of twins later I’m now a digital scrapbooker and designer.

What three words would you use to characterize your current style?

Hmmm… If I were to pick three words to describe my scrapbooking style they would have to be:

Scrapping for the Fun of It | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Marjoleiene, aka Misses M

Hello, Marjoleine, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you became a digital scrapper?

Hi! My name is Marjoleine Hest (misses M in digi-land), and I’m from the Netherlands. I will be 40 years old this June (*gasp*). My guy and I have two girls. My oldest, Eveline, is 13-years-old and my youngest, Mara, is 3-years-old.

I have been scrapping for a year now. I still can’t believe how fast everything has gone. When I started, I posted my layouts on a blog and there I met Maaike from Find Your Bliss Designs (also a Dutchie but I didn’t know that at first). She convinced me to post in galleries and store galleries. I was very insecure at that time and told her she was nuts, but I still did it anyway, and I have never looked back. I’m still grateful for her trust in me and for her “pushing” to post in galleries. She’s one awesome girl!

The Artistic Scrapper | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Amy Martin

Hello Amy and Welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a believer, wife, mother and friend. I am married to my best friend; we have four lovely children to continue the legacy. I take things as they come and am extremely content in my life. I snap way too many pictures, as my children will readily agree!

I think the children of our readers could commiserate with your children on that one!

How did you begin scrapbooking?

I have been doing some sort of scrapping for years, however, I dove into digital scrapping in ’03 and started to dabble in hybrid shortly thereafter. I have had my work featured in most every major scrapbook publication and have been honored as a Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame Winner and as a Memory Makers Master.

The Queen of Clusters | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Crystal Livesay

Hello Crystal, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a SAHM/WAHM of three. I married my high school sweetheart about 11 years ago, and not long after we were married we got pregnant with our first son, Gabriel. We had our son Ezra two years later and Stella two years after that. We live in rural Indiana just about 15 minutes from both of our parents, which is so nice, but I do so dream of moving somewhere south eventually. My heart lives at the beach, and I hope to join it one day.

Hi Paula! Welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m a 40 something (I honestly have trouble remembering my exact age; I guess I’m in denial) wife and mom of two kids.

I started scrapbooking when I got married to create a wedding album. As soon as I had kids I was hooked on the concept. I started digital scrapbooking in 2005, and although I mostly digi-scrap, I still play with paper every now and again. I enjoy hybrid crafts that merge my love for digi and paper.

Journaling Creatively | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Mindy Pitcher

Hello Mindy! Welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us about yourself and your scrapbooking?

I am a 33 -year-old homemaker, mother to three girls, wife to one guy who is incredibly supportive of me and my obsession with various hobbies. He’s stuck with me for 13 years so far!

I have been a scrapbooker since I could cut and paste, saving all those little bits of life that were so important to me (I still have those fabric covered binders). I recall being very excited when acid-free stickers and pens showed up on the market.

Sharing the Story Behind the Photos | A Scrapper’s Style Interview with Peppermint Granberg of One Little Bird

Hi Peppermint, and welcome to Simply Tiffany Studios! Can you tell us a little bit about how you started digital scrapbooking?

I discovered digital scrapbooking back in 2005 when Two Peas in a Bucket first opened their digital scrapbooking forum and shop. I had been purchasing paper supplies from them for a couple of years and was instantly drawn to the idea of bypassing the mess and expense of paper scrapbooking. I wished that I had found out about it sooner!
