During the launch party of Everyday Storyteller, which I hope you attended and enjoyed, a topic surfaced regarding mentors and scrapbookers whose work inspires. The topic intrigues me because I haven’t identified any one single person in a long, long time. I haven’t looked at a crafting magazine since forever. I haven’t visited the local scrapbook store in ages. Gosh, golly, gee — the last time I visited Two Peas or any other mega-scrap social site might have been when my daughter was in diapers.

That’s a long freaking time! Like the dinosaurs went extinct time. One self-imposed, I’ve lost connection with my hobby, guilt-trip later, I realized why I’m not nose-deep in scrappy hang-out spots. Or keeping up with the latest talent. I’m already surrounded!
